Job description
Duties
Hot forming of glass, inflating and injecting, fusing, creating glass apparatus, combining glass tubes with glass bodies, bending glass tubes, creating tapered sleeves and cores, fabricating tapered sleeves, measuring and marking volume measuring instruments with water.
Training period and location
Blocks of instruction at the vocational school center in Ilmenau.

3.5 years
Prerequisites
We are looking for young people with an interest in technology and design and skills in craftsmanship. Of course, you also have to have an exacting style of work. For this vocation we require a high school diploma with very good grades (at or above the level corresponding to a German Hauptschule).
