Polytechnician with a Swiss Federal Diploma

During the basic training as a polytechnician you produce work pieces either by using conventional working methods or by programming CNC-machines. We offer various possibilities of specialization for specialized training. Together with other specialists, you either work on projects or orders, build prototypes, check parts, or participate in assembly and maintenance work.

The apprenticeship lasts four years. It is divided into a two-year basic and supplementary training program and two years’ specialized training including assignments in various departments. The apprentices attend the vocational school in Liestal.

Our apprentices are offered the opportunity of international training (EUREGIO), that is, the completion of an internship in a foreign country close to the border. We strongly encourage their obtaining professional maturity during the apprenticeship.

We are looking for young people with a high interest in mechanics, mathematics, and physics. Of course, they also need craftsmanship and are able to work accurately.

Suitable students: secondary school students, level E or P.

In August we publish the apprenticeship positions for the following year.
