Design Engineer with a Swiss Federal Diploma

Together with other specialists, design engineers develop and design parts and components for devices, machines, and equipment as well as tools and appliances for the production. You create engineering documentation as well as installation and test documents and work on orders, specifications, or parts of projects. You write the corresponding instructions and documentation for the operation and maintenance of the equipment.

The apprenticeship lasts four years. It is divided into a two-year basic and supplementary training program and two years’ specialized training including assignments in various departments. The apprentices attend the vocational school in Liestal. The first seven months of the apprenticeship are completed at aprentas. Our apprentices are also offered the opportunity of international training (EUREGIO). We strongly encourage their obtaining professional maturity during the apprenticeship with us.

We are looking for young people with an interest in design engineering, mechanics, mathematics, and physics. Of course, you also need a good imagination and are able to work accurately.

Suitable students: secondary school students level E or P.

A suitability test (Multicheck technical for Design Engineers) is required.

In August we publish the apprenticeship positions for the following year.
