Endress+Hauser has developed strongly in its 70th anniversary year. The specialist for measurement technology and automation solutions increased its consolidated sales by 11 percent to more than 3.7 billion euros in 2023. The Swiss family-owned company created 715 new jobs worldwide. At the end of the year, the Group had 16,532 employees. Endress+Hauser also expects to continue growing in the current year.
“Endress+Hauser recorded strong organic growth in 2023, boosted by record-high orders on hand at the start of the year,” said chief financial officer Dr Luc Schultheiss. Individual markets and sectors developed very differently. Economic momentum slowed noticeably in the second half of the year.
“Nevertheless, we were able to maintain our order income at a good level and want to take advantage of the growth opportunities in 2024 as well,” emphasized Dr Peter Selders, the Group’s new CEO since the start of the year.
Last year, Endress+Hauser celebrated its 70th birthday. The highlight was an anniversary week in Switzerland: 5,500 employees attended a huge celebration in Basel and looked back on seven decades. At the first Endress+Hauser Global Forum, over 800 customers discussed how to successfully manage the sustainable transformation of the process industry. Hundreds of employees took part in internal conferences; at the Young Generation Networking Day alone, 600 young talents exchanged ideas.
Endress+Hauser will present its audited financial figures for 2023 on 16 April 2024 at the annual media conference in Reinach, Switzerland.
