New managing director at Endress+Hauser Level+Pressure

A change has occurred at the top at Endress+Hauser Level+Pressure. Dr Dirk Mörmann has replaced Dr Peter Selders as managing director of the product center for level and pressure management. The change, which was previously announced at the beginning of 2023, is a result of Peter Selders’ appointment as CEO of the Endress+Hauser Group.

Dirk Mörmann joined Endress+Hauser Level+Pressure in May 2022 and has been responsible for the Technology area. He will continue to head up this area alongside his new role as managing director. “I’m looking forward to this big task, as well as to working together with our dedicated colleagues. Together we will continue our successful path and develop the company further. We will succeed as long as we continue to focus on the needs of our customers – of that I am convinced,” said Dr Mörmann.

Dirk Mörmann's career has been marked by management positions in the field of industrial process measurement technology for roughly 14 years. Before joining Endress+Hauser, he was a member of the extended executive board at KROHNE Messtechnik GmbH, where he was head of strategic marketing. In this role he was responsible for group-wide product and innovation management, strategic direction and implementation and enhancement of the product portfolio.

He built the foundation of his career with a degree in physics, which was followed by a doctorate from the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel. He began his career in 2004 as a product manager for a process measurement company before being promoted four years later to head of technology management and technical marketing and then to managing director technology.

His predecessor Peter Selders, who led Endress+Hauser Level+Pressure since 2019, has now assumed his new role as CEO of the Endress+Hauser Group in Reinach, Switzerland. “With the promotion of Dirk Mörmann to managing director, I am convinced that Endress+Hauser Level+Pressure is in the right hands. He is an experienced leader with outstanding industry know-how and with his people-centric approach, personifies the culture of our family-owned company. I wish him much success in his new role.”
