Publication date: 25.11.2024

The German American Chamber of Commerce has presented Endress+Hauser in the U.S. with the 2024 Apprenticeship Award. This award recognizes the company's commitment to the Industry Consortium for Advanced Technical Training (ICATT®) and its efforts to promote workforce development.

Endress+Hauser sees creating, developing and maintaining safe workplaces as an essential part of its social responsibility. “As a technology company, we rely on qualified specialists and committed young talent. That is why we focus specifically on promoting young talent and aim to reserve 5% of all positions for apprentices, students and interns in the long term,” says Dr Peter Selders, CEO of the Endress+Hauser Group.

The ICATT Apprenticeship Program is the leading initiative for companies in the U.S. that is based entirely on the German dual model. This globally recognized approach combines company-specific knowledge, professional theory and hands-on learning. Endress+Hauser has also offered a dual vocational training program in the U.S. since 2019.

Twelve young talents are currently undergoing training in the Endress+Hauser Apprenticeship Program in the U.S. Eleven apprentices have already completed the program, achieving a 100% retention rate.

The award from the German American Chamber of Commerce was presented to Endress+Hauser team members on 19 November 2024 during National Apprenticeship Week in the nation's capital, Washington D.C.
