Controlling inlet quality minimizes biofouling and scaling, optimizes cleaning cycles and thus ensures longer membrane lifetime. Different parameters are used to manage the inlet quality of reverse osmosis: pH, turbidity, chlorine, SAC, conductivity, and ORP measurement.
